Chocolate, Anyone?

Thanks to Aunt Kendra for the leftover fondue. Erin figured out quickly that there's no need to waste time with dipping. She went straight to drinking it out of the bowl. Smart girl, I say!

Good stuff!!

Family at the Oregon Coast

Joslyn, Sabrina, Erin, and Brett (and Blake) on the swings in front of our hotel.

This was our family's first time at the ocean. The girls and I loved looking for shells, sanddollars, and running away from the waves.

Mom and Blake in front of Haystack Rock at Cannon Beach

Cannon Beach, again. S and J (in the middle) with some of the many friends they made (at the beach, at the pool--little social bugs, both of them!!). They loved watching for the "big" waves to come up and flood all the tide pools and cover their feet. The water was almost 60 degrees... not too bad, I guess.

Grandpa and Grandma's House

We went to visit my parents in Kamiah a few weekends ago. Here is the newly-sided old barn. It looks great, Dad!!

In addition to exploring the farm, we took a day trip across Lolo and over to Weippe to get firewood. The big girls enjoyed exploring some old outbuildings and swinging on the rope swing. We had a picnic and took some four-wheeler rides. Erin loves the four-wheeler and Blake is just happy to be outside! Thanks for the hospitality, Mom and Dad !
