Just love this age....

Erin is beginning to realize the differences in boys and girls, and I asked her the other day, “Are you a boy or a girl?”

“A girl!” she answered promptly.

“Is Blake a boy or a girl?”

“A boy!”

“Is Mommy a boy or a girl?”

After a brief look of confusion, she matter-of-factly informed me, “You’re a mommy.”

Tea Party

This is pretty much a daily ritual for Erin. She loves to set up all the dishes, along with her favorite doll and then invite me, Brett, or the girls to have a tea party with her. Blake is NOT invited. I will post a video and show you what happens when he decided to crash the party.

Birthday Boy

Oh man, these kids grow up fast! I can't believe Blake is one! We had a small, but very fun birthday party in his honor. He had a race car cake and got some new boy toys (yeah!!) and clothes. It's hard to know which part he liked best...probably a toss-up between licking the beater from the cake batter and the ribbons on the presents!




Oh yeah, and the ice cream wasn't bad either!

Once there was a snowman....

We've had lots of snow in January...here's a snowman Erin and I made.

Blake was an excellent supervisor.
