Everyone keeps asking us "Is having a boy different?" Well, yes. Especially the older he gets. Blake loves balls of all sizes and shapes. (It's amazing to me that he already knows that a football is actually a ball). Here he is playing an all-time favorite game--throw and fetch. Pretty cute and relatively harmless... for now.

Blake on the Table
At 14 months, Blake loves to climb on everything and the kitchen table is one of his favorites. I think he especially likes the reaction he gets from everyone when he is up there teetering around--Dad, Mom, or Sabrina will come running and get him down, Joslyn will start to scream, "Blake's on the table!!!!" and Erin will climb up and start running around with him.

Tag from Bethany
I hope my mom and dad will be so proud that the nearest book to me an old Book of Mormon. I just skipped down to the fifth verse on the page, here goes:
"And now I, Jacob, spake many more things unto the people of Nephi, warning them against fornication and lasciviousnes, and every kind of sin, telling them the awful consquences of them."
AMEN!
I tag Regina and Kendra and Calli and this is really just an experiment to see if you ever look at my blog.... :) The instructions are to grab the nearest book, turn to page 123, find the 5th sentence on the page and then write the next 3 sentences.

STAMPEDE
Uncle Doug scored us some tickets to the Idaho Stampede game last night. We left the "little kids" home with a sitter and took Sabrina and Joslyn. They loved it! They never even asked once, "Is it almost over???" They were pretty anxious for half-time though, since we had promised them a trip tot he concession stand. Nachos with cheese turned out to be one of the highlights of the evening.
We told them that this was a chance to be as loud as they wanted. Whenever the opposing team shot free throws, they let loose with yells and ear-piercing screams--another highlight, for them anyway.

Whee!
We've had a few spring-like days and have tried to take advantage of every one. Blake (like all kids his age) loves to go outside and will stand at the door pounding on it, trying to get me to take him outside. He loves the little climber in our backyard and is mastering the bigger slides at the park.

Hannah Montana Mania
For Sabrina's ninth birthday she wanted to go see Hannah Montana's concert movie. She and her best friends Anna and Lexie along with her best sister Joslyn and her terrific mom had a fabulous time rocking out with Miley and Hannah. It was in 3-D, thus the cool glasses in the theater. Then it was home for pizza and cake and ice cream and presents. Whoo-hoo!
Blake Walking
This video was taken a week or so ago. He took his first steps right around his first birthday, but has just recently decided he actually prefers it to crawling. In this video, he is laughing so hard he can't even keep his balance, which seemed to happen every time we got the camera out.
