Our New Swing Set

We have been looking for a while and finally found a sweet deal on a Rainbow swingset. The kids love it--like having a park right in our back yard.

Blake is just old enough to climb all over everything all by himself.

We got a cute playhouse and a sandbox as part of the package.

Sabrina took these interior photos.

Grandjean Hot Springs

Some of our favorite camping trips have been with our friends, the Blasers. Last weekend we followed them up to Grandjean. These hot springs were just five minutes upriver from our campsite.

Brett and Blake were in pretty much this same position for at least 90 minutes. Blake loved the water!! And Brett loves his son--he was willing to fish him out from the bottom of the pool every time he stumbled and couldn't regain his footing.

Fun in the sun!!

Just chillin'.

Whoot-whoo! What a man!!

I'm Back

My phone and DSL service have both been down for a week, making me wonder how I ever remained sane before Al Gore invented the internet. Hope to do some more posting this week to catch everyone up on our exciting life!

Back to School

Always a day of mixed emotions for me. I get used to them being gone during the day pretty quickly, but the reality that I have kids this OLD (3rd and 4th grade!!) is what makes me so sad....!

And off they go! Sabrina, her BFF and neighbor Anna, and Joslyn get ready to ride their bikes to the bus stop. Such big kids now, they don't even need me to follow them on their first day.

Mini-Update

I had my 20-week ultrasound yesterday (although I am actually 21 weeks along) and guess what!! I didn't find out what it is! (Gender, I mean.) Sorry to disapoint some of you. I say I didn't find out what it is because Brett did not attend. I tried to pout and tell him that I was going to find out on my own and not tell him, but he ruined my plans by saying "Well, don't tell me--I want to wait until the birth." Anyway, I can't blame him for not coming: A. He was in Nevada for work, and B. It isn't nearly as exciting of a procedure when you don't find out.

Pretty Girl

I just have to include these photos of Erin. Once in a while she is fully dressed with her hair fixed!

If you look closely, you can see the birthmark in her right eye--a brownish spot that covers about 1/3 of her iris, and just one of the things that makes her unique!!

At the Park

One of our last outings to the park before S and J went back to school. The weather was perfect for a park day--a little overcast and not too hot.

Blake getting a ride from big sister Sabrina. She is so great to tag along behind him and play with him while he explores all the equipment.

Erin eating chips in the shade.

Blake is going solo...he can really get these things rockin', as you can probably tell from the intense look on his face.

Joslyn was with us too, but managed to avoid the camera. She spent most of her time in the splash park--ever the water bug!
