Raking Leaves at Uncle Barrett's

On November 15, we went to Uncle Barrett's for a leaf-raking party. BeckyAnn and her little boys also joined in the fun. After a little bit of work, we broke for yummy soup and sides and eventually a de-lish birthday cake to celebrate Barrett's 31st birthday. With 6 extra kiddos between us, I'm not sure how much "help" we were, but it was definitely a good time. Thanks for your hospitality, Kendra!

I'm a big boy now....sort of.

Blake has moved out of the nursery (and therefore his crib) and is now sharing a room with his sister. Even though they each have their own bed, he insists on sleeping with Erin. She doesn't really want him to, but puts up with it. One step at a time, I guess.
And wouldn't you all agree that kids are the most adorable when they are fast asleep?

One of our favorite activities

Blake and Erin love to paint pictures and now that the weather is cooler and we can't go outside, we usually get the paints out a couple of times a week. Maybe we'll get an artist in the family yet.

Leaves are falling all around

Two hard-working girls...and then the fun part!
Whoo-hoo!!

Here I come!

And then, the hard-working man.

The frosting's the best part

You may have seen this picture on BA's blog, but I had to show it to our other fans as well. This was taken at cousing Andrew's birthday party. Also, excellent photography, Uncle Barrett.

Halloween Preview

We went to a Primary Halloween Activity tonight, so here is a preview of our costumes.

Right when we arrived at the party, Sabrina headed over to the apple bobbing booth.
She was completely fearless and could get an apple in like 5 seconds. Many people commented on her impressive talent.

So much for hair and makeup....

Lucky Blake...he got one of her yummy (and perfectly sanitary) apples! Dee-lish! Sabrina and her friends were great about taking him around to all the booths.

Erin spent most of the night in the stroller, with her tray of goodies.

Joslyn, the sorceress, hamming it up.

Lucky Girl

I was pretty surprised when the doorbell rang and there was a flower guy out there! "Are you sure you have the right address?!!" But, whaddaya know, my handsome prince had sent me some beautiful flowers--just because. Sometimes I feel like the luckiest girl in the world! I love that man!!
